Your computer.
Your private work.

Portico is a remote desktop app provided by Xu Ji, under h10. This policy describes the app and this website.

Remote desktop sessions

A session sends screen content and the input needed to control a computer between devices you choose. Depending on the features you use, a session may also carry clipboard contents, audio, or files. Portico uses the RustDesk protocol's authentication and encryption features. Only connect to computers you own or have permission to access.

Connection services

Connection coordination and relay services necessarily process network addresses, peer identifiers, and connection metadata to locate devices and route traffic. A relay forwards session traffic when a direct connection is unavailable. The coordination service stores device registration records, including peer identifiers, device UUIDs, public keys, and connection address information. Coordination and relay services also produce operational and security logs, including network addresses and connection events. These records support device discovery, authentication, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. Do not treat a remote desktop connection as an anonymous network service.

Your iCloud device directory

If you use iCloud discovery, Portico stores a directory of your hosts in your Apple account's private CloudKit database. It includes host identifiers, computer names, platform information, and last-seen times. The directory does not include your Mac login password. Apple provides iCloud and handles that service under its own terms and privacy policy.

Information on your devices

The app stores settings, recent connections, host directory caches, and connection diagnostics locally. Some connection settings can include saved credentials. The optional saved computer login password used for remote unlock is stored in a device-only Keychain item protected by the device's current Face ID or Touch ID enrollment.

Permissions

macOS permissions control screen capture and remote input. Microphone, camera, local network, and file access depend on the feature you choose and the permission prompts shown by the operating system. You can review or revoke permissions in system settings.

Support and diagnostics

If you email support, we receive the address, message, and attachments you send. We use them to respond and investigate your issue. Logs and screenshots can contain identifiers or private content; review them before sending, and never send passwords.

Advertising and website access

Portico does not include advertising or cross-app advertising tracking. This website has no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Cloudflare serves the website and may process network and security information necessary to deliver and protect it.

Your choices

Close the Mac host to stop accepting sessions. Remove saved connections or credentials through the available app controls. Uninstalling removes app-local data subject to operating system backup behavior; iCloud and Keychain data may be handled separately by Apple. Contact us for questions about support correspondence or information held by connection services. Purchase and refund requests are handled by Apple.
